Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and shape the fiscal direction of our organization. This pivotal role requires an energetic leader with extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. As CFO, you will oversee all financial activities, drive revenue growth, manage risk, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our organization through complex financial landscapes, fostering sustainable growth, and maintaining industry-leading standards in financial practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, procedures, and policies.
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and other relevant standards.
- Oversee accounting functions, including revenue management, cost control, budgeting, and expense management to ensure fiscal discipline.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, risk analysis, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Lead risk management initiatives by conducting detailed risk analysis and implementing mitigation strategies across all financial operations.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for financial reporting, audit coordination, and financial software systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new products/services seamlessly into the organization’s financial framework.
- Develop sophisticated financial projection models to support strategic planning and business development efforts.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategy development, market analysis, and long-term fiscal planning.
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience in finance or executive management within a complex organization; prior finance directorship preferred.
- Extensive background in accounting systems implementation, financial analysis, forecasting analysis, and industry knowledge of financial regulations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, cost control initiatives, and expense management programs.
- Expertise in finance activities including business development, and strategic management.
- Exceptional skills in negotiation, business analysis, risk assessment, and financial report writing/interpretation.
- Ability to lead diverse teams effectively while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
